Another Checkered Flag for Team Blythe in Savannah Carrabba's Team Blythe showed up in Savannah, Georgia for the Savannah Offshore Grand Prix, fresh off a win in Brick, New Jersey. The competition down south was very heated. The southerners love their boat racing. Team Blythe ran the race and passed on the last corner of the last lap to take the checkered flag. What an exciting win for the team. The team hopes that their future wins come a bit easier then this win did. It was battle from the green flag, picking each competitor off one by one until they finally passed the lead boat just in time to come across the finish line first. | Here's Carrabba's Team Blythe taking a victory lap.

Thanks go out again to Carrabba's Italian Grille, Team Blythe's main corporate sponsor. Owner, Greg Stamper, was a true southern gentleman. His resturant staff treated Team Blythe racing like royalty. Once again the team was treated to the finest Italian food it has ever tasted, not to mention the service was impecable. One must know that Carrabba's and Greg Stamper have a superb training program, one that provided the team with service that was second to none. Carrabba's Team Blythe power race boat was on display outside the restaurant every evening, which is located on the main thouroughfare of the city. Thousands of passerby's were able to get a glimpse of the winning boat and patrons had the chance to meet and talk to the crew of Carrabba's Team Blythe Racing.
This race will be seen on FOX Speed Channel September 7th at 10:00 a.m. Be sure to mark your calendar for this one or set your VCR, as Todd Blythe owner/driver was interviewed by Madusa, a reporter covering the race event. Todd also conducted an interview with Savannah's local Channel 3 News. Rumor has it that Madusa and a FOX Speed Channel camera will be in the boat with Todd in the next APBA Offshore event to take place in Cleveland this August as Team Blythe goes for it's fifth win.
