The Checkered Flag Goes to Carrabba's Team Blythe in New York

On September 6 - 8, 2002 Carrabba's Team Blythe was in the Big Apple for the New York Super Boat National Championship Race. The thousands of fans lined the Hudson River and got a chance to see the biggest and fastest boats in the world. This was the 11th year for this Super Boat International event held in New York, New York. The race drew over 45 race boats from around the globe for a weekend of fun, sun, fast racing and good times.

We are happy to report that Carrabba's Team Blythe fought the rough waters to cross the finish line in first place and grab the checkered flag for the fifth time this race season. The boat averaged speeds close to 70 miles per hour, fast enough to secure another win.

While in the New York area the team was welcomed by the Ramada Inn Limited of Jersey City, New Jersey. The race crew enjoyed fabulous accommodations conveniently located just outside the Big Apple.
