Team Blythe Takes the Checkered Flag ... AGAIN!

On June 23, 2002 Carrabba's Team Blythe took the checkered flag in Seaside Heights, NJ. This was the teams first entry into an SBI (Super Boat International) divisional race. Due to recent shoulder surgery, owner/driver Todd Blythe was replaced by new crew member David Flack. David drove the boat alongside throttle man Bob Geoghegan, and were successful in powering the boat across the finish line in first place. It was an easy win for the team as the rough conditions got the best of their competition, some of which left the Jersey shore with bumps and bruises while others were left in the cold ocean water after being thrown from their race boats into the rough waters off Seaside Heights.
