Team Blythe

Philadelphia/NJ Grand Prix
Maple Shade Appearance
October 6-8, 2005

This was the first time at this event for Carrabba's Team Blythe racing which was held along the Delaware River right between Camden, NJ and Penns Landing in Philadelphia, PA. The great thing about this event, the USS New Jersey was used for staging as well as spectator viewing. A special thanks to Randy True, owner of Maple Shade Carrabba's and his wonderful staff.

Shown on the right, Carrabba's Team Blythe racing visits Carrabba's Maple Shade. Owner Randy True with some special friends enjoys conversation about the racing adventures of Carrabba's Team Blythe.

See below for more highlights from this fun filled event.

Carrabba's race boat on display at the Tweeter Center in Camden, NJ. The Tweeter Center is an entertainment complex where artists like Jimmy Buffett, the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith perform.

The USS New Jersey was a great place to view the race. You could tour the battleship and have access to all levels to obtain your best view of the race.

The boats go flying by the gun turrets of the USS New Jersey battleship.

This is called the wet pits where the boats are staged prior to racing.

The race team enjoys a wonderful meal with Carrabba's staff waiter in the background.

The team looks forward to stopping by next year to visit with Randy and staff.

Thanks for the fun times.
