Carrabba's Team Blythe Takes Boat on Appearance Tour

Carrabba's Team Blythe took the boat on an appearance tour in 2005. The team was able to stop at five Carrabba's restaurants along the way. These special appearances are always well received and a fun family style event. The team is always very appreciative of the great service and hospitality they receive at all their Carrabba's appearances and charity events. The team is looking forward to a bright year in 2006.

Springfield Carrabba's owner Charlie Pastore with his Carrabba's mascot Bella, the famous Bull Mastif welcomed the team to Springfield, Delaware County, PA. Team Bltyhe is a huge fan of Bella! The boat was proudly displayed on Baltimore Pike, a busy highway in Delaware County. See below for highlights including some fun photos with Bella.

Brick Carrabba's was the team's next stop. Owner Chris Blythe and his team once again welcomed the race team. The boat was placed in front of the store for all patrons and cars passing by to get an up close look. See below for highlights.

Allentown Carrabba's owned and operated by Gregg Johnson also welcomed the team for the first time to his Allentown establishment. This stop was filled with excitement! Patrons stopped eating to come outside and see the boat when they heard it was there. The boat was on display and very visible to patrons as well as the general public as it sat right in the heart of Allentown. Highlights from this event can be seen below.

Easton Carrabba's was the teams next stop and owner Chip Lichtenwalner had made arrangements for the team to set the boat on display for the afternoon. This was teams first appearance at the new Easton Carrabba's. It was well received by the staff and patrons from the Easton area. Highlights from this event can be seen below.

Willow Grove Carrabba's another new location for Carrabba's and another new appearance for the race team. Susan McCashew, owner, welcomed the team with open arms. The team made it's appearance on the day of the grand opening. The team also brought along it's race cars and had them on display. The boat sat on the main road with spotlights shining on it. When the sun went down the boat shined bright for a spectacular show. Highlights from this event can be seen below.

Charity Golf Outing at Battle Creek Country Club in New Jersey. Carrabba's Team Blythe race team showed up to showcase the boat and cars around the putting green as well as to help promote finding a cure for Duchenne's. Duchenne's is a muscular dystrophy that hits close to home for Stephen Hallett, the JVP who sponsors this Carrabba's outing. Highlights from this event can be seen below.

Macy's is on the left, Carrabba's on the right as Carrabba's Team Blythe is on display at the Springfield Mall. The mall is located on a major four lane highway and the boat was well received by the general public.

Brick Photo Highlights

Carrabba's Team Blythe in Bricktown, New Jersey always has a wonderful time. This has been an annual event and this trip was our sixth appearance. The patrons and staff look forward to this each year and we look forward to 2006. Joining in the fun was Dave Russo, Nikki Fattibene, Heather Magee, Caitlin Blake, Nicole Read, Joshua Mills, Kristin Breaun, Tristin, Lindsey, Nick Hinds.

Allentown Photo Highlights

Easton Photo Highlights

Willow Grove Photo Highlights

The Carrabba's two car race team and trophies on display in Willow Grove. While patrons waited on opening day they got to enjoy this display as well as the race boat.

The Carrabba's race boat was on display up until the late hours of the night for all the public to enjoy. Carrabba's Willow Grove is located near a busy intersection and it was impossible to get a photo without a car in front of the boat!

Charity Golf Photo Highlights

 

 

Carrabba's Team Blythe boat racing spends time on display at a charity event. This gives the people a chance to get up close to a race boat of this caliber, which normally you would not be able to do.

The race cars also were on display near the putting green for all golfers and public to enjoy.

The race team enjoys some down time in the custom Carrabba's golf cart driven by Chris Blythe, owner of Bricktown Carrabba's. The Carrabba's golf cart travels the country with the race team.

Dinner and awards ceremony was wonderful. What a way to end a great day. Food was donated by Carrabba's and was enjoyed by all at dinner as well at stations conveniently located around the course.

Tony N from sponsor Grease Monkey, Todd Blythe, Randy, and Steve look good but that didn't help the score.
