Team Blythe

The Team Goes on a Carrabba's Restaurant Promotional Tour

As Carrabba's Team Blythe headed north from the World Championships, the team took time out along the way for a promotional tour with the race boat. Our first stop was Naples, Florida where Manny Vegas, owner of the Naples Carrabba's greeted us with open arms. The race boat was proudly displayed in front of the restaurant in plain view for all passerbys to see. The restaurant is strategically located on the main highway, Tamiami Trail, in Naples. The staff took time out to hop aboard the boat for a photo session and for some good down home fun. The team signed autographs and handed out give aways for the fans. Thanks again Manny and congratulations on the new job as Joint Venture Partner!

Next stop for the race team was Orlando, where the team visited two local Carrabba's. First they stopped by to see Doug Parrish, owner of the Orlando Carrabba's. His staff came out to see the boat on display in front of the store. They had the opportunity to board the boat and learn more about offshore racing first hand. The store is located on Sand Lake Road where many passerbys could see the boat on display. Again fabulous food and great hospitality provided by Doug and his fun loving staff. The team signed autograph pictures and had team swag for fans.

Next stop was a trip to see Todd Ward, owner of Orlando Universal Studios. Our timing did not permit to us be there during regular business hours. However we were still able to display the boat and have a photo shoot in front of Todd's door on Thanksgiving Day. Next time we plan to arrive during regular business hours and make a big showing out of it to make up for the bad timing.

The boat was parked outside the Naples Carrabba's and many people stopped by to get a close up view of this high performance race boat.

Some of the staff from the Orlando Carrabba's board the boat and look ready to race!
