Team Blythe
Racing Makes Apperance at Grease Monkey Day!
On August
14, 2004 Team Blythe Racing headed to Doylestown to support
the local Grease Monkey shop. Grease Monkey is a national
oil change and preventative maintenance company. For Grease
Monkey Day, owner Tony had hotdogs, hamburgers and refreshments
for patrons. He also had many give-aways supplied by sponsors
for those who stopped by to the see the race boat and race
cars. Carrabba's supplied many things, from lighters to water
bottles as well as some other items from other sponsors. The
Plumsteadville Fire Company was also on hand with their firetruck
for people to see up close. The proceeds from Grease Monkey
Day were used to help support the Plumsteadville Fire Company.
The weather cooperated and everybody in attendance had fun!
The event was well received by the public. Grease Monkey is
located in the heart of Doylestown's main thoroughfare. Many
passerbys stopped by to join in the Grease Monkey Day celebration.
