Carrabba's
Team Blythe Racing Makes Appearance at Charity Golf Outing
On September
27, 2004 Carrabba's Team Blythe racing traveled to north Jersey
to take part in the 7th annual Find-A-Cure charity golf outing.
The boat and race cars were displayed by the putting green
located in front of Colt's Neck Golf Club clubhouse. The race
boat, race cars, checkered flags, and trophies were the backdrop
for a putting contest.
This charity
is special to Carrabba's Team Blythe. This was the teams second
appearance at this charity event. It is nice to see so much
support for such a worthy cause. We hope this event brings
more attention to children with Duchenne and one day a cure
may be found. To learn more about how you can help, visit
Find-A-Cure online at www.findacure.com
The food
and wait staff time was donated by five local Carrabba's.
Chris, the owner of Brick, NJ Carrabba's did a first class
job on catering the food out on the course. There were four
food stations and the event finished with a wonderful dinner
also supplied by local Carrabba's restaurants. The wait staff
was second to none and deserve a great deal of thanks. Not
only did they donate their time but during the previous months
they helped to raise funds totaling over $11,000.
A very
special thanks to Stephen and Paula Hallett who coordinate
this yearly charity event. We are always interested in helping
to support him in any way. With all the support this event
helped to raise over $20,000. These funds are directly used
for ongoing research at the A.I. DuPont Children's Hospital.
