Carrabba's Team Blythe Finishes Third at Atlantic City Grand Prix

Early in July the team headed "down the shore" to Atlantic City for the annual Atlantic City Grand Prix. Atlantic City is always special for the team. There is always a lot of excitement in the air in a town that never sleeps. From gambling to surfing to boat racing, AC has something for everyone.

Carrabba's Team Blythe braved the high seas with waves from six to eight feet high, and with some great driving by Bonnie Allen Blythe and throttling by Bob Geghan the team finished in third. The day was rainy and miserable and just finishing the race was commendable. There were many teams left by the wayside and not able to finish the race.

Special thanks to Turnersville Carrabba's Sandy, the proprietor, for her continued team support. With Sandy and her crew plus the close proximity to our home base this event always feels like a homecoming for us. We look forward to the Grand Prix next year. Also, thanks to all our associate sponsors for making this race so exciting.

The boat had prime real estate in Race Village. The team displayed Carrabba's gear and signage along with race tee shirts and some past trophies and checkered flags.

From Race Village you could see the new Borgato along with the other marina casinos, Harrahs and Trump.

Here the team is racing through Brigintine inlet on it's way to the race course.

WOW! Hang on team, the race just started.

Back down to earth, or shoud we say back down the water, the team was able to brave these rough seas and finish the race unlike many other teams who dropped out.

The team had a great view of the Atlantic City skyline as it headed back in from the course.

The team proudly displays the trophy. Great job Bonnie and Bob!

The team next stop was Doylestown, PA for Grease Monkey Day.
