Team Blythe

Second Place in Fort Myers for Carrabba's Team Blythe

The team finished second in Fort Myers. Todd Blythe drove the boat and was helped by throttle 'woman' Bonnie Blythe, Todd's wife. This caught the eye of the media and the team was interviewed by the NBC affiliate Channel 2 News in Fort Myers which reaches over 50,000 people in Florida. The spot aired on the evening news as well as the late news.

This was Carrabba's Team Blythe's first time back in Fort Myers in two years and the team did not know what to expect but all were pleasantly surprised. The venue was jam packed with things to do and drew crowds in the thousands in the dry pits as well as on race day. There was an air show complete with stunt planes and F16's buzzing the beach. Most of the race boats took part in a parade down main street in Fort Myers during race week. There were thousands of people lining the street to get a good look at these fast machines. Be sure to catch the race on OLN or FOX Speed Channel. Please check your local listings for times and dates.

A special thanks goes out to Errol Conant, proprietor of Carrabba's Fort Myers, Florida and his manager, Rick and staff who were hospitable and supportive to our entire race team. As always the food and the fans at the restaurant were out of this world. Thanks guys and we will see you next year!
