Carrabba's Team Blythe Wins World Championship
The location Orange
Beach, Alabama. The event the World Championship. The results,
FIRST PLACE! Carrabba's Team Blythe race boat driven by owner,
Todd Blythe and throttleman, Rick Hartman managed to come
across the finish line in first place out of 58 registered
boats in the world in their class! The seas were rough and
choppy just the way our boat likes them. The race course was
able to be seen by spectators on the beach, in the water on
boats, on condo balconies and from hotel balconies as well
as a pier. Orange Beach, Alabama is one the finest race venues
in the world. It is tough to beat this location. The event
was covered by FOX's SpeedVision. Be sure to check local listings
for airtime.
The city had a boat
parade highlighting the million dollar boats. Our team cruised
down the center of town with 10s of 1000s of spectators lining
the streets. A good time was had by all.
