Carrabba's Team Blythe Boat on Display in Brick, NJ
During the month of August 2003 Carrabba's Team Blythe went to the Jersey Shore for the Point Pleasant Grand Prix. OPA (Offshore Performance Association, sanctioning body) was in town for the Point Pleasant Grand Prix, which brought many boats, teams and fans to the Jersey Shore. Also that weekend, there were extreme athletes in town, from extreme skateboarding to extreme jet skiing. There were extreme sport demonstrations throughout the weekend. Thousands of people were at the shore with all the events taking place. The team had a blast and found time to stop by one of it's favorites places...Brick Carrabba's. The team displayed the boat at the Brick Carrabba's and enjoyed quality time with family and friends. Thanks to owner Chris Blythe and his staff. They made us feel like "family." Maybe because we are "family." | Carrabba's Team Blythe stops in Brick, NJ to visit their family and friends at the local Brick Carrabba's Italian Grill.

The boat had prime real estate for the Point Pleasant Grand Prix. |
Located right on Route 70, the main highway running through town, the team's display drew the crowds in for an up close look. |
Here is the boat parked outside the Brick Carrabba's. Located on Cedar Bridge Road in Brick, NJ, a four lane highway, the boat got the attention of passerbys. |
The busy highway travelers slowed to see the display. |
Here is a look at the race fans. The annual event drew many more fans than last year, and Team Blythe hopes to compete again next year and bring home another checkered flag. |
Fans had great views of the race course. Fans on shore, fans in the water, fans in cars, fans in condos...and fans in boats, too. |
The Team Blythe family enjoys a great meal and the food and service was second to none. Carrabba's Team Blythe enjoys a photo shoot with owner, Chris Blythe and some of his staff. Thanks again, brother, for everything.
